Pantagiota's entrance music is Troy Music Video. A fine choice. Dimitrios Pantagiota has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sepe Seppa!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pantagiota doesn't manage to clinch there - Seppa circles away.

Pantagiota closes the distance and clinches.
A bit of stalling here from Pantagiota.

Seppa fails to pull guard.

Seppa jumps guard and drags Pantagiota to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Pantagiota not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Pantagiota slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Pantagiota's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Pantagiota has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Seppa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pantagiota is one step ahead there.

Seppa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Seppa seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Seppa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pantagiota can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Seppa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pantagiota gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Seppa is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sepe Seppa dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Seppa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Seppa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Pantagiota is in trouble now - Seppa has advanced to mount!

Despite being in the dominant position, Sepe Seppa just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Seppa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pantagiota sprawls well initially but Seppa persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Seppa wants to free his trapped foot but Pantagiota is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Seppa takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Pantagiota is staying active underneath Seppa, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Seppa is taking a breather. Pantagiota says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Seppa is pressing down on Pantagiota's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pantagiota is holding on for now.

Pantagiota on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pantagiota tries to get out of the position.
Seppa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pantagiota does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
