Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jethro Sherdog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Cayro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherdog shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cayro sprawls well. Cayro wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sherdog gets slowly back to his feet.
Sherdog shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cayro is trying to defend but Sherdog finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Sherdog really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sherdog stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Sherdog looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cayro has picked Sherdog up and slammed him! Sherdog can't keep hold of the triangle and Cayro manages to pass to side control!

Sherdog closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sherdog swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Cayro is now in Sherdog's guard. A big mistake from Sherdog there, giving up the dominant position!
Sherdog is working an open guard so Cayro takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jethro Sherdog.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sherdog, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
