These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The crowd cheers as Steele lands an impressive looking overhand right. McFarlen doesn't seem phased though.

George Steele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steele scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Steele tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and McFarlen is able to avoid easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Steele chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McFarlen can pounce on him.

McFarlen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Steele blocks it with crossed arms.
Steele jumps guard but McFarlen stands there with Steele around his waist. Steele gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Steele tried to land a shot to the body but connects with McFarlen's elbow.
