Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dre Benjamin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Rendicion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rendicion has chosen El śltimo pecado as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rendicion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Benjamin swivels and escapes.
Rendicion looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Benjamin misses with an uppercut.
Nice defenses there by Rendicion.
Benjamin throws a nice looking combination but Rendicion bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Benjamin looks to land a left hand but Rendicion moved out of range nicely.
Rendicion defending well as Benjamin loads up on a big left hand.
Benjamin scores with a nice head shot.
Benjamin drops Rendicion with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rendicion looks back up at him and smiles so Benjamin waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Rendicion is rocked!
It looks like Roberto Rendicion has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Benjamin throws an overhand right that lands on Rendicion's shoulder, as Rendicion tries to avoid the shot.
Rendicion is still on wobbly legs! Can Benjamin finish him?
Benjamin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Benjamin jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rendicion seems to have recovered his senses.
Benjamin looks to throw the jab but Rendicion is out of range.
Rendicion slips a jab from Benjamin.
Rendicion shoots in looking for a takedown. Benjamin tries to sprawl out of it but Rendicion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Benjamin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dre Benjamin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Rendicion.
Rendicion lands a nice hook to Benjamin's body. Benjamin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Rendicion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Benjamin's waist but Benjamin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rendicion off to one side.

A big right from Benjamin misses.
Benjamin connects with a nice looking jab.
Rendicion closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Benjamin wants to break the clinch but can't.
Benjamin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Benjamin has had enough of the clinch but Rendicion keeps him there for the moment.
Rendicion tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Benjamin just stands there and leans against the cage.
Rendicion keeps control of Benjamin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rendicion ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rendicion no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Rendicion is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Benjamin is looking to stand up but Rendicion won't let him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A cross from Benjamin lands.
Rendicion slips a straight right by Benjamin.
Rendicion fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Benjamin manages to avoid it.
Benjamin throws a shot from downtown. Rendicion moves away and avoids it.
Benjamin tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rendicion on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rendicion looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Benjamin!

Rendicion fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Benjamin is not a happy chappy
he wants out of there.
Rendicion has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Rendicion wants to control the pace but Benjamin is squirming around nicely.
Rendicion takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Benjamin tries to buck Rendicion off but he can't manage it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Benjamin is trying to stand but he's just given Rendicion his back.

Rendicion lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Benjamin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rendicion on the ground.
