The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Core shoots in but no luck this time.
The crowd cheers as Finlitis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Core doesn't seem phased though.
Finlitis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice takedown defense from Finlitis. No joy for Core on that attempt.
Finlitis stuffs the takedown attempt from Core. Core gets slowly back to his feet.
Giorgios Finlitis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hard Core.
Finlitis misses with a double jab.
Finlitis lands with a hook. Core tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Core shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Finlitis sprawls well. Finlitis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Core gets slowly back to his feet.
Core tries to clinch but Finlitis moves out of range.

Core has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Core shoots in for a takedown but Finlitis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Finlitis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Finlitis stalks Core and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Core's face. Core staggers backwards, shaken.
Core is trying desperately to land a takedown but Finlitis is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Core.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Finlitis stuffs the takedown.

Finlitis lands a left and a right that send Core crashing to the mat, dazed. Finlitis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Core is rocked!

It looks like Hard Core has been cut.

Core shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Finlitis pinned against the cage. Finlitis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Finlitis drops Core with a straight right hand, right on the button! Finlitis follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
