Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ben Avit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck O Brian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ben Avit has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ben Avit seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brian fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
O Brian misses with the combination.
O Brian looks to land a left hand but Avit moved out of range nicely.

Avit stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Avit feints and then cracks O Brian's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow O Brian down.
Avit cracks O Brian with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
O Brian rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Avit moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Avit shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Avit showed some decent athleticism there.

Avit is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Avit drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Avit jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Chuck O Brian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Avit postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! O Brian is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Avit, into his guard.

O Brian might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
