The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones has a takedown stuffed.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Redman.
Jones tries to work over Redman's front leg with a kick but Redman checks it.
Redman misses with a takedown

and Jones counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Redman!
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jones is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Redman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Redman wants to control but Jones is having none of it.

Redman is desperately trying to improve his position but Jones has a good base and remains in mount.

Redman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Redman tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
