Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alan Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abel Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zero fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jefferson, pushing him back against the cage.

Zero successfully pulls guard.
Jefferson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zero works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jefferson trying to control the position from guard on top but Zero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jefferson stands up over Zero, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Zero is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jefferson won't allow Zero to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zero stalks Jefferson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jefferson's face. Jefferson staggers backwards, shaken.

Jefferson wants to clinch up but Zero keeps it at a distance.

Zero throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Zero decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jefferson wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they both work up against the meshing.

Zero is working for a kimura but Jefferson is defending it quite comfortably.

Jefferson throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Zero manages to pass to side control.

Zero decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jefferson to his feet.
Zero throws a shot from downtown. Jefferson moves away and avoids it.
Jefferson takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Zero lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jefferson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jefferson tries to bum rush Zero with a series of wild strikes but Zero uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Zero is working for a rear naked choke. Jefferson is not defending it well and Zero has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Jefferson refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Jefferson's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
