Marsh fails to land with a series of punches.
Marsh tries to bum rush Champ with a series of wild strikes but Champ uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Champ swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Marsh thows a left - swing and a miss!

Marsh darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Marsh wants to control but Champ is keeping him busy.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Marsh thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Champ is trying to stand back up but Marsh is controlling him
Marsh takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Champ wants to control but Marsh is keeping busy.

Marsh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Champ swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Champ lands with a hook. Marsh tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Champ loads up on a big right hand but Marsh slips the punch.

Champ looks to land a left hand but Marsh moved out of range nicely.
Champ throws a looping overhand right but Marsh ducks down to avoid it.
Marsh fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Champ on the side of the head.
Marsh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Champ sprawls well. Champ wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marsh gets slowly back to his feet.

Marsh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Champ sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Marsh somewhat.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Marsh doesn't manage to clinch there - Champ circles away.

Champ really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marsh. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Marsh tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marsh has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
