Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overdose keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lane gets caught flat footed, as Overdose shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Overdose controls from within his opponent's guard.
Lane seems keen to control Overdose's posture.
Lane wants to control but Overdose passes easily into half guard.
Still in half guard, Overdose seems content to control.
Lane is looking for a sweep. Overdose is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lane is trying to stand up here but Overdose is controlling him well.
Lane is trying to maintain the position but Overdose is very close to passing his half guard.
Lane wants to get back to full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lane fails with the takedown
letting Overdose counter with a right hand.
Overdose connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lane. Lane circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lane tries for a takedown but Overdose circles away easily
and Overdose counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Lane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lane has a takedown stuffed.
Lane throws a lazy head kick
and Lane takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lane is breathing heavily.
Overdose throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lane gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Overdose counters with a good low kick that Lane was not able to check.
Lane drops his hands momentarily and Overdose needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Lane just on the top of the head. Lane drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Lane - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Alistair Overdose!
