Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wells comes to the cage accompanied by Fed Up-Dj khaled. Steele has chosen The Simpsons theme song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wells shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Steele defends it nicely.

Wells darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Wells missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steele tries to kick Wells off but Wells keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Wells is working for a submission of some sort.
Wells is pressing down on Steele's thigh, looking to free his foot. Steele is holding on for now.
Wells not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Wells moves nicely into side control.

Wells wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Steele, who protects the arm well.
Steele tries to buck Wells off but Wells is having none of it.

Wells is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Steele is trying to escape and Wells transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Steele is forced to tap! Nice work there by Wells! Very nice indeed!
