The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fredson Reis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Latulipe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Reis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Reis throws a right hand that Latulipe ducks under and follows up with a left that Latulipe also avoids with ease.
Reis misses with a low kick.
Reis lands a really nice looking cross but Latulipe seems unphased.
Reis throws a right and a left that Latulipe avoids nicely.

and Latulipe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Reis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Reis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Reis is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Reis lands a nice shot that snaps Latulipe's head back.

Latulipe moves into range and clinches up with Reis.

Reis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Reis scores with a sloppy right hand. Latulipe should have avoided that one.
Reis lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Latulipe is looking to close the distance but Reis sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Latulipe crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Latulipe is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
