The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JACKSON uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Forker.
Connor Forker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Forker throws a looping overhand right but JACKSON ducks down to avoid it.
JACKSON slips under a jab.
Forker lands with a hook. JACKSON tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like RAMPAGE JACKSON has been cut.

JACKSON dodges the punch combination from Forker.

JACKSON feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

JACKSON is looking to take a break and control but Forker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

JACKSON got a little sloppy there for a moment and Forker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, JACKSON has managed to get both his arms back between Forker's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that RAMPAGE JACKSON will probably get the nod.

This one could be over very soon! JACKSON goes limp - he's gone! Forker jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
