Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michel Rodalgo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saiko Intervention (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodalgo comes to the cage accompanied by Ace of Spades - By Motorhead. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodalgo misses with a body shot.
Intervention lands with an overhand left.

Rodalgo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Rodalgo with a flurry of punches that miss.
Rodalgo tries to free his leg and advance position but Intervention is retaining full guard.

Intervention working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rodalgo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rodalgo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Intervention looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Rodalgo puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Rodalgo is taking a breather. Intervention says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Intervention is not content to let Rodalgo control the position.
Intervention is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Intervention escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rodalgo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Rodalgo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rodalgo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Rodalgo passes Intervention's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Rodalgo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rodalgo shoots in for a takedown but Intervention shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rodalgo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Intervention manages to avoid it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Intervention swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rodalgo throws a body punch but Intervention moves out of range.
Intervention jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Rodalgo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Intervention's half guard.

Rodalgo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Intervention is just riding it out for now. Rodalgo eventually gives up the hold.

Intervention is looking for a sweep. Rodalgo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Rodalgo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Rodalgo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Rodalgo wants to control from the top but Intervention keeps moving.

Rodalgo is keen to just control but Intervention is a slippery customer.

Intervention is breathing heavily.

Rodalgo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Michel Rodalgo will probably get the nod.
That's time! Rodalgo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Intervention avoids the body shot from Rodalgo.

Rodalgo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Intervention looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rodalgo is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Rodalgo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Intervention's shoulder. That is not cool.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
