The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans swats away the attempt to clinch by Holiday.
Holiday tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Evans was well out of range. Poor timing from Holiday.
Evans takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Holiday forces Evans back against the cage and clinches.

Holiday manages to break the clinch.
Left hook, right uppercut from Holiday.
Evans shoots in and drives through. Holiday sprawls well.
Holiday swinging wildly here.
Holiday moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Evans shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Poor strikes thrown by Evans there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Holiday really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Evans. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Evans sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Evans throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Holiday has his hands clasped together but Evans breaks the hold and Holiday is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Evans!
