Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Greg Rego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rego.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close second round but I would say that Greg Rego will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Vega is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rego defends well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

A left and a right from Vega both land. Nice combination.

Rego changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vega looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rego tries to score with some ground and pound. Vega controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rego, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
