The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ratzinger keeps the fight on the outside.
Martin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ratzinger paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ratzinger scores with a takedown into Martin's guard.
Martin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ratzinger postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Ratzinger throwing strikes from guard but Martin blocks nicely.
Martin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ratzinger is controlling him.
Martin is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Martin looks gassed!
Ratzinger makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Ratzinger distracts Martin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Martin is rocked!
Ratzinger decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Martin is still on wobbly legs! Can Ratzinger finish him?
Ratzinger shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Ratzinger slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Ratzinger lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
