Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bronco Nagurski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pusha T (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bronco Nagurski is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bronco Nagurski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pusha T!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

T gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nagurski to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nagurski is stalling in the full guard.
T keeping full guard, as Nagurski tries to pass.
T utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
T controls Nagurski momentarily but Nagurski frees himself.
Nagurski stops T from standing up.
Nagurski lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Nagurski is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because T is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

T lands a left and a right that send Nagurski crashing to the mat, dazed. T thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oh Nagurski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
T throws a series of punches but Nagurski moves out of range.

Nagurski seems to have got his legs back now.
Nagurski thuds a left hand into T's body.
Nagurski digs a good body shot into T's ribs.
No joy there for Nagurski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

T throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nagurski.

T looks to throw the jab but Nagurski is out of range.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nagurski is defended easily by T.
T scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nagurski doesn't seem bothered though.

Nagurski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

T will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nagurski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Nagurski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

T pushes Nagurski off and gets back to his feet.
T throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
T lands a lovely overhand right.

T throws a nice looking combination but Nagurski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
T stuffs the takedown attempt from Nagurski. Nagurski gets slowly back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Nagurski here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if T can do anything to dispel that myth.
