And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shay is trying hard to land a takedown here. Teppo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Teppo has Shay up against the cage in a clinch.
Teppo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Shay is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Teppo has picked Shay up - he's going for a ride! Teppo dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Teppo has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Teppo landing punches.

Teppo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Shay is on top in guard.
Teppo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shay's guard.
Teppo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Shay is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Teppo wants to pass the guard but Shay is keeping the position.
Shay is looking to stand up but Teppo isn't so interested in that idea.
Shay trying to keep a closed guard but Teppo is proving a slippery customer.

Shay wants to sweep here but Teppo controlling him for the moment.
Shay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Teppo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Shay tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Teppo swivels and escapes.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Teppo scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Shay throws a sloppy head kick and Teppo moves out of range easily.
Teppo lands a jab to the head.
Shay swats away the attempt to clinch by Teppo.
Shay has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Teppo finds it's way round the side to connect with Shay's head.

Teppo gets a clinch.
Shay can't get the takedown.
Matti Teppo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Shay.
Shay looks gassed!
Teppo lands a shoulder strike.
Shay avoiding damage as Teppo throws knees to the body.
Shay takes a shot to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Teppo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Teppo gets through Shay's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Shay misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Teppo.

Teppo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Shay can't fight it off and eventually Teppo manages to take the fight to the floor. Shay looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Teppo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Teppo passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Shay!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Teppo lands with some strikes.
Teppo trying to control but Shay is having none of it.
