Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Rex Mason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Blackhead!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackhead shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mason napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mason tries to bench press Blackhead off him but Blackhead keeps the position.
Mason gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Mason is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Blackhead's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Blackhead's back!
Mason working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Blackhead is doing well to defend. Mason seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Blackhead is forced to tap and this one is over!
