The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pete walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Crazy Pete has been cut.
Pete wants to clinch up but Nalimov keeps it at a distance.
Pete throws a hook but Nalimov blocks it.
Pete is looking to clinch but Nalimov is avoiding it.

Pete closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Pete lands a nice knee to the body.

Nalimov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Nalimov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pete. Pete circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nalimov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Pete had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Pete takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nalimov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pete on the side of the head.
Nalimov works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Pete takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Pete moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nalimov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nalimov might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Nalimov cracks Pete with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Pete looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Nalimov finish him?

Pete is rocked!
BOOM! Nalimov lands a beautiful left hook that drops Pete. Pete tries to recover but Nalimov is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Pete lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
