Bollea has chosen Lil Jon - Gangsta Gangsta as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Terry Bollea has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mesnar shoots in but no luck this time.

Mesnar scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Mesnar scores with a couple of short elbows.

Mesnar decides to stand back up. Mesnar steps back and let's Bollea get back to his feet.
Mesnar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mesnar ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bollea avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Mesnar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mesnar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bollea really wants to buck Mesnar off and get back to his feet.
Mesnar landing strikes from the mount and Bollea is in trouble!
Mesnar is landing with some decent strikes but Bollea is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

It looks like Terry Bollea has been cut.

That has opened up Terry Bollea's cut even more.
Mesnar pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Terry Bollea's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Terry Bollea's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
