The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gulskii doesn't manage to clinch there - Igor circles away.
Igor tries for a takedown but Gulskii sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gulskii decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Igor, up you get!

No joy there for Gulskii, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Igor gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Igor manages to break the clinch.
Gulskii throws a right hand that Igor ducks under and follows up with a left that Igor also avoids with ease.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Igor counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gulskii's guard now.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Igor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Igor drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gulskii manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Igor has Gulskii in his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gulskii stands and steps away. Igor gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Igor shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gulskii sprawls well. Gulskii wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Igor gets slowly back to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Argo Gulskii.
