Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between bob cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristi Radu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bob cook had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, bob cook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cristi Radu !
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radu closes the distance and clinches up with cook, looking for a takedown. Radu pushes cook against the cage but cook circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Radu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Radu drops back looking for a leg! cook is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and cook manages to kick Radu off! Radu jumps back into cook's guard.
Radu advances to half guard.
Radu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks cook with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Radu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Radu moves nicely into side control.

Radu has hold of cook's arm. He's looking for a kimura. cook seems comfortable defending it but Radu has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! cook is real pain and he's forced to tap out! cook is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Radu couldn't care less - he's delighted!
