Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Victor Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Carpio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson comes to the cage accompanied by Diamond. Carpio has chosen Rico Swave as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Victor Peterson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dave Carpio!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson slips under a jab from Carpio.
Dave Carpio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peterson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Peterson takes a kick to the side of the head.
Carpio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Peterson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Carpio.
Carpio throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Peterson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carpio sprawls well initially but Peterson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Peterson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Carpio doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Peterson.
Carpio is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Peterson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Peterson's back!
Carpio doesn't have the hooks in and Peterson manages to turn into his guard.
Carpio tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Carpio wants to stand and escape but Peterson is having none of it.

Peterson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carpio swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Carpio throws a push kick but Peterson slaps the foot to one side.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Carpio.
Peterson swats away the attempt to clinch by Carpio.
Peterson ducks under a wild hook from Carpio.
A left and a right from Carpio both land. Nice combination.
Carpio uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Peterson has time to react.

Peterson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Carpio misses the shot to the body.
Carpio moves in looking to clinch but Peterson pushes him off.
Carpio ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Carpio misses with a wild body shot.
Carpio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peterson manages to avoid it.
Carpio doesn't manage to clinch there - Peterson circles away.
Peterson looks to land a right hand but Carpio moved out of range.
Carpio lands a front kick.
Peterson misses with a hook. Carpio ducked under it nicely.
Dave Carpio is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Carpio throws an overhand right that lands on Peterson's shoulder, as Peterson tries to avoid the shot.
Good leg kick by Carpio there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A decent looking cross lands there for Carpio.

Peterson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Carpio dives on top into guard.
