Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas L (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Power comes into the arena with Fabolous, 50cent, Mase - Breathe Remix blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power moves out of range of the strikes.
Power rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but L moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

L throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
L tries a head kick but it misses.
A jab from Power finds it's way through L's defenses.
Power misses with an uppercut.
Power keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from L.
Power lands a jab.
L throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
L throws a head kick but Power moves out of range.
L lands a nice shot to the body.
L stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
L pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

L throws a hook but Power avoids it easily.
L waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Power.

L closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
L misses with a series of wild punches.
L takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Power moves out of range of the body kick.
Power closes the distance and clinches.
L wants to break the clinch but can't.
Power lands a nice shot to the body.
Power's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
L throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Power lands a right hook to the body.
L on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
L takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Power lands a nice hook to L's body. L takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Power jabs L right on the nose. L blinks but takes it well.

Power throws a good cross that connects.

Power changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. L looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

L is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Power has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Power cracks L with a big right hand but L just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Power seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down L for as long as he can get away with.

Power has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Power is trying to ground and pound but L uses the momentary lack of control by Power to regain half guard.
L is refusing to be controlled, as Power sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Power throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Power lands a nice shot that snaps L's head back.
L throws a wild body kick that Power sees coming a mile off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Power dominated that round.
That's time! Power's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Power throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck L on the side of the head.
L misses with a straight left.
Power throws a combination but it was largely blocked by L.
Power is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that L can do to turn this around?
L fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Power manages to avoid it.
Power thuds a left hand into L's body.
Power throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Power clinches up with L and pushes him back against the cage.
L tries to break the clinch but Power is controlling the position.
Power breaks from the clinch.
Power lands a lovely overhand right.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Power fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Andreas L is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Power stuns L with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

L is breathing heavily.
Power throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

L avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Power.
Power takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
L is looking to escape.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Power throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent L stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Power.
Power moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
L is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Power asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Power is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but L is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Power tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Power is working L over with some ground and pound from side control.
Power goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, L has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Power but great work by L.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
L tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Power dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

L is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Power.
It looks like Andreas L has been cut.
L throws a head kick but Power moves out of range.
L throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Power sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Power bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

and L takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Power dips to his left and cracks L with an uppercut!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

L throws a head kick but Power moves out of range.
Power lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

L takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
L takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Power cracks L with a right hand to the side of the head.
L is rocked!

Power shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with L but L pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Power lands with a cross.
Power looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for L!

L is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Power content just to control the position here.
The referee warns L that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

L is bucking up trying to escape but Power cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Power goes for an armbar but he's not got it… L turns into him and now he's in Power's guard.
Power wants to sweep here but L controlling him for the moment.
Max Power is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Power wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Power is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Power is taking a breather. L says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight!
Max Power showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Power has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
