Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darth Nurple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Z (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nurple comes to the cage accompanied by Imperial March. Z has chosen Haters as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darth Nurple!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Z!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurple staying out of range there.
Z jabs at Nurple's body.
Z throws the left hand but Nurple avoids the punch easily.
Nurple lands with a kick to the temple. Z shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Jay Z has been cut.
Nurple connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A combination from Z does no damage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Z. Nurple does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nurple throws a leg kick that misses.
Nurple slips a jab from Z.
Z misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Z takes a swing at Nurple's ribcage but misses.
Nurple keeps Z at a distance using the push kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Z tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nurple was well out of range. Poor timing from Z.
Nurple clinches with his opponent.
Nurple has Z pressed against the cage, preventing Z from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Nurple takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Nurple lands with a left to the head.
Nurple stalls.
Nurple is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Z looks gassed!
Nurple works on Z's body with a couple of short punches.
Nurple with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Z is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nurple taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Z is still on wobbly legs! Can Nurple finish him?
Nurple unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Z! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Nurple is unloading with more strikes now! Z drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darth Nurple!
