The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chronic throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Scotch Tape closes the distance and clinches up with Chronic, looking for a takedown. Scotch Tape pushes Chronic against the cage but Chronic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chronic throws a body punch but Scotch Tape moves out of range.
Chronic is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Scotch Tape's half guard.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Scotch Tape crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chronic - the referee stops the clock and Scotch Tape gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chronic. Scotch Tape manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chronic accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
