The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Kuznetsov as McCool shoots in.
McCool displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kuznetsov throws out the jab.

Kuznetsov bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops McCool! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Jerome McCool has been cut.
McCool looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kuznetsov is one step ahead there.
Kuznetsov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

McCool shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kuznetsov but Kuznetsov pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jerome McCool's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
McCool uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kuznetsov.
Kuznetsov throws a series of strikes that have McCool backpedaling.
McCool shoots in looking for a takedown. Kuznetsov tries to sprawl out of it but McCool keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kuznetsov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
