Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sebastian Abigor!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Black Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abigor slips under a jab from Thomas.
Thomas pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Abigor displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thomas throws out the jab.
Thomas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Abigor.

Abigor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Abigor drops back looking for a leg! Thomas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Thomas manages to kick Abigor off! Abigor jumps back into Thomas's guard.
Abigor won't allow Thomas to get back to his feet.

Thomas is looking for a triangle but Abigor pushes his legs off easily.
Thomas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Abigor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Abigor won't allow Thomas to sweep him here.
Abigor sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Thomas's guard.
Abigor is tying to control. Thomas wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Abigor tries to pass the half guard into mount. Thomas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Abigor is trying to control the action in half guard but Thomas is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Abigor scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Thomas tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Abigor content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Abigor tries to advance to mount but can't.

Thomas tries to bench press Abigor off him but Abigor keeps the position.
Abigor just content to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Abigor lands a decent elbow from side control.
Thomas tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Thomas is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Thomas looks gassed!

Abigor cracks Thomas with a big right hand but Thomas just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Thomas looking for a sweep but Abigor has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Abigor pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Abigor prevents Thomas from getting the reversal.
Abigor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Thomas is looking to escape.
Thomas is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Thomas sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Thomas pushes Abigor off looking to stand but Abigor dives back in and keeps control.
Thomas moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Abigor stays in close to Thomas's body and controls the position.
Thomas is wriggling around but Abigor manages to pass to half guard.
Abigor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Thomas wants to get back to his feet.
Abigor not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Abigor blocks the strikes from Thomas.
Thomas is looking to escape.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Thomas slips a jab and a cross from Abigor.
Thomas throws out a loose jab but Abigor uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Abigor is looking to clinch but Thomas is avoiding it.
