The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marx lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Johnson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Marx on the side of the head.
Marx throws a body kick that misses.
Marx gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Johnson doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Marx working Johnson over with knees to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marx scores a nice knee to the body.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Marx lands a good knee to the midsection. Johnson won't want to take too many of those.
Marx jerks Johnson's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Johnson drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Marx goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Marx because Johnson was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Carl Marx!
