Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Maurice Kilmers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Snake!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kilmers clinches with his opponent.
Kilmers tries to pull guard but Snake holds him up against the cage and eventually Kilmers drops back down to his feet.
Kilmers keeps control of Snake as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kilmers blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A frustrated look appears on Snake's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Snake escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Snake swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Kilmers ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kilmers connects with the punch.


It looks like Jake Snake has been cut.
Snake tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Kilmers counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Snake is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kilmers.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Snake breaks the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kilmers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kilmers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kilmers throws a hook but Snake blocks it.
Kilmers steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Snake.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maurice Kilmers dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jake Snake's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Snake takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kilmers uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Snake has time to react.

That has opened up Jake Snake's cut even more.

Kilmers is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kilmers jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Snake is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Snake and Kilmers has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Snake is looking for a sweep.

Kilmers is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Snake to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Snake shrugs it off.

Kilmers goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Snake is on top in guard.
Snake sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kilmers's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snake perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Snake is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kilmers is just riding it out for now. Snake eventually gives up the hold.
Kilmers is looking to improve his position.

Kilmers manages to get to full guard.

Snake drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kilmers looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kilmers looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kilmers!

Kilmers has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Snake is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kilmers yanks on the arm and Snake is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kilmers.
