The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prokhorov looks to land a left hand but Punto moved out of range nicely.
Prokhorov scores with a body shot.
Prokhorov misses with an uppercut. Punto saw that one coming.
Prokhorov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Punto is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Prokhorov misses with a hook.
Prokhorov takes a swing at Punto's ribcage but misses.
Prokhorov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Punto.
Prokhorov stuns Punto with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Prokhorov lands a jab to the head.

Prokhorov looks to score with a jab to the body but Punto is just out of range.
Punto takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Punto avoids the body shot from Prokhorov.

Prokhorov cracks Punto with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Prokhorov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Punto to stand back up!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Punto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Prokhorov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Prokhorov sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Punto's defenses. It connects perfectly with Punto's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
