Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Marceau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marceau throws a head kick but Kingston moves out of range.
Kingston moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Xavier Marceau has been cut.
Marceau misses with a wild body shot.
Marceau lunges at Kingston with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kingston's hand.
Marceau lands with a nice combination. Kingston backs away looking to recover.
Kingston tries to clinch up but Marceau circles away and keeps his distance.
Marceau checks a leg kick.
Marceau throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kingston.
Marceau throws a right and a left that Kingston avoids nicely.
Kingston drops Marceau with a left and a right! Oh, Marceau is hurt - Kingston dives into side control looking to finish!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kingston working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Marceau takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Marceau tries to control but Kingston manages to take his back.

Kingston is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Marceau defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Kingston has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Marceau's body.
Marceau seems to have got his legs back now.
Marceau covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Marceau is breathing heavily.
Marceau is trapped and Kingston is scoring with shots to the head and body.
