Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machete leaves Gatti with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Gatti feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Machete is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gatti is controlling him.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Gatti closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Machete to the mat! Machete manages to get full guard.

Machete knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gatti on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Machete lands a left and a right that send Gatti crashing to the mat, dazed. Machete thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Machete lands with a big right hook that stumbles Gatti - he's out on his feet here! Machete follows up with another monster hook that separates Gatti from consciousness! Gatti falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Machete stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
