Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and babalu santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). santana is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Promiscuous Timbaland ft . Bruno Xavier has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Xavier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, babalu santana!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
santana throws a leg kick but Xavier checks it.
santana throws a nice outside leg kick.

Xavier decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Xavier is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. santana doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Xavier.

santana pushes Xavier off and gets back to his feet.

santana pushes Xavier up against the cage in a clinch.
santana stops a takedown attempt from Xavier.
santana is looking to break free of the clinch but Xavier has double underhooks.
Xavier wants a takedown but no success here.
Xavier drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruno Xavier. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Xavier can't get the takedown.
Xavier has santana pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. santana manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Xavier avoids a punch combination nicely.
santana misses with a series of wild punches.
Xavier avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

and Xavier counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Xavier.
Xavier is breathing heavily.
santana is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Xavier is controlling him.

santana kicks Xavier off and gets to his feet.

Xavier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

santana wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Xavier's hips, looking to push off. But Xavier grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! santana screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
