Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robb Spewak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spewak comes to the cage accompanied by The German National Anthem. Thomas has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sam Thomas acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spewak sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Thomas to the ground! Spewak dives into full mount looking to finish!

Thomas is rocked!

It looks like Sam Thomas has been cut.
Spewak trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Thomas is still in real trouble! Can Spewak finish him?
Spewak is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Thomas is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Spewak sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Thomas seems to have recovered his senses.
Thomas is squirming around, avoiding Spewak's attempts to control the action.
Spewak is really struggling to control Thomas but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Robb Spewak just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Thomas has a takedown stuffed.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Thomas.
Spewak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thomas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Spewak circles away.
Robb Spewak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Thomas.
Thomas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spewak swivels and escapes.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Spewak shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Thomas is working an open guard so Spewak takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Spewak dances in with a quick combination. Thomas is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Spewak snaps Thomas's head back. Thomas stumbles backwards against the cage. Spewak steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Thomas's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Thomas just didn't come prepared.
