McQueen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Edguy - Ministry of Saints. James McQueen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sullivan gets caught flat footed, as McQueen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
McQueen looking to sit in guard and control but Sullivan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

McQueen looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McQueen pulls Sullivan in to control the position.
Sullivan wants to control from the top but McQueen keeps moving.

Sullivan got a little sloppy there for a moment and McQueen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sullivan has managed to get both his arms back between McQueen's legs - danger averted.

McQueen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sullivan defends it easily.

Sullivan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Sullivan drops back, looking for a kneebar! McQueen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McQueen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McQueen!

Sullivan is not content to let McQueen control the position.
Sullivan is trying to control McQueen's posture but McQueen avoids it.

McQueen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sullivan tries to buck McQueen off but McQueen is having none of it.
McQueen staying calm.

McQueen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McQueen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sullivan throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
McQueen prevents Sullivan from escaping the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
