Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keegan Savard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wonder Man!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Man.
Man throws a looping overhand right but Savard ducks down to avoid it.
Man keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Man throws a nice looking combination but Savard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Savard takes one to the chin there.


It looks like Keegan Savard has been cut.
Savard gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Man.
Savard uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Man.
Savard has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Man finds it's way round the side to connect with Savard's head.
Savard is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Man misses with a hook.
Man tries to bum rush Savard with a series of wild strikes but Savard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Man lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Savard circles away quickly and effectively.

Savard darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Savard tries to pass the half guard into mount. Man knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Savard missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Savard is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Man can do anything to dispel that myth.

Savard has control of Man's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Man regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Man stops Savard from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Man is wriggling around trying to escape.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Man is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Savard trying to control but Man is having none of it.
Savard seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Man is holding on tight.
Man really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Savard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Man tries to reverse the position but Savard maintains control.

Savard is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Savard throws a right hand that Man ducks under and follows up with a left that Man also avoids with ease.
Savard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Savard takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Man misses with a wild body shot.
Wonder Man is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Man misses with a body shot.
Savard gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


Keegan Savard's cut is getting worse.
Savard tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Man swivels and escapes.
A telegraphed right hand from Man misses the target.
Man swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Savard counters by clinching up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Man prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keegan Savard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Savard is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Man pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Savard drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Man breaks from the clinch.
Savard gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Man misses with a wild combination.
Man scores with a hook to the body. Savard takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Savard is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Man throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Savard holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Man can't find room to land a body shot as Savard controls the action.
Savard drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Savard has Man pressed against the cage, preventing Man from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Savard is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Savard is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Man gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wonder Man dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Keegan Savard's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Man lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Savard backs up against the cage.
Man throws a body punch but Savard moves out of range.
Man drops Savard with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Savard! Man dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wonder Man!
