Diesel's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "What You Know" - T.I.. Ryan Mcarthy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesel wants to clinch.
Diesel throws a nice inside leg kick.
Mcarthy shoots in but Diesel avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Diesel stuffs the takedown attempt from Mcarthy. Mcarthy gets slowly back to his feet.
Diesel tries to clinch but Mcarthy is having none of it.
Mcarthy closes the distance and clinches up with Diesel, looking for a takedown. Mcarthy pushes Diesel against the cage but Diesel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mike Diesel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Mcarthy.
Diesel wants to clinch.
Diesel tries to clinch but Mcarthy moves out of range.
Mcarthy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Diesel as he jumps to the side.

Mcarthy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Diesel closes the distance and clinches.
Diesel comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Ryan Mcarthy has been cut.

Mcarthy takes an elbow to the temple.
Mcarthy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Diesel gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Mcarthy looks gassed!
Diesel comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Diesel looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Diesel creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Mcarthy with a big uppercut! Mcarthy tries to clinch up but Diesel pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Mcarthy to the mat! Mcarthy covers up and Diesel unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
