Jefferson has chosen Welcome To The Jungle as his entrance music. Mean Mug could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Zac Jefferson's chin.

Mug fails with a takedown attempt.

Jefferson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Mug is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jefferson has managed to free his arm - good work.

Jefferson is looking for a sweep. Mug is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jefferson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mug pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mug is looking for a kimura but Jefferson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mug to get the leverage.
Mug missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mug scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Mug throws a leg kick but Jefferson sees it coming and moves out of range.

Mug gets the takedown into side control.

Mug tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mug has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Jefferson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Jefferson wants to pass to mount but Mug is defending the position.
