Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Afonso Severo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robson Moura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robson Moura is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Severo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Moura did well to prevent Severo getting side control.
Moura looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Severo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Severo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Moura's head.
Severo slips a nice elbow through Moura's hands, connecting with Moura's forehead.
Severo seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Severo passes the guard and advances to mount!
Moura is desperately trying to improve his position but Severo has a good base and remains in mount.

Moura avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Severo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Moura defends it nicely.
Severo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moura is fending him off so far but Severo persists. Nope, Moura circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice sprawl there from Moura as Severo shoots in.

Severo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moura's waist but Moura gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Severo off to one side.

The ground and pound from Severo seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Moura tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Severo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Severo cracks Moura with a big right hand but Moura just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Moura is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Severo is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Moura looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Severo is looking for a sweep.

Moura wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Severo, who protects the arm well.
Severo is trying to control Moura's posture but Moura avoids it.

Severo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Moura looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Moura seems to be looking for submissions.

Afonso Severo dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Severo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Moura paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Moura manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Severo content to control rather than advance.
Moura is looking to improve his position.

Severo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Moura is staying active underneath Severo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Moura is looking for a choke. Severo gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Severo manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Moura has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Severo doesn't defend quickly enough and Moura has managed to lock this one up! Can Severo escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Moura on a fantastic submission victory.
