The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayama misses with a wild combination.
Mayama throws a nice looking combination but Ikora bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mayama shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mayama is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ikora sees it coming and defends easily.
Ikora is pressing down on Mayama's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Mayama is sitting in close to Ikora's body. Ikora has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Mayama is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Mayama is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Ikora.
