Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tappy McOut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Lacroix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tappy McOut!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Lacroix!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacroix throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McOut works over Lacroix's head and body with a nice combination.
Lacroix moves into range and connects with a jab.
McOut staying out of range there.
Some wild striking there from McOut.

McOut darts in and clinches Lacroix up against the cage.
Lacroix is pressed up against the cage. McOut has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lacroix down to the mat. Lacroix avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
McOut connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
McOut ducks under a wild hook from Lacroix.
Lacroix throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Nice body kick from McOut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lacroix takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lacroix takes a swing at McOut's ribcage but misses.

McOut fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lacroix sprawls well initially but McOut persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
McOut thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

McOut is looking for a kimura here.
Lacroix is refusing to be controlled, as McOut sits in half guard.
McOut passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lacroix!

Lacroix defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from McOut.

McOut has control of Lacroix's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lacroix regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Lacroix is working to get back to half guard.
McOut lands a nice shot to the head.
McOut prevents Lacroix from getting the reversal.
Lacroix sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Lacroix has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McOut is working away from the top position though.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Lacroix is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McOut pulls his head out easily.

McOut seems to be looking for submissions.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McOut is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lacroix doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McOut.
McOut is breathing heavily.
Lacroix wants to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

McOut drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

McOut loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Lacroix keeping moving, preventing McOut from controlling successfully.

McOut drops back looking for a leg! Lacroix is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lacroix manages to kick McOut off! McOut jumps back into Lacroix's guard.
Lacroix not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Lacroix has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes McOut off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

McOut clinches.
McOut has Lacroix pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lacroix manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lacroix is fighting off a takedown attempt but McOut is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lacroix to the mat. Lacroix regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Lacroix has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McOut doesn't defend quickly enough and Lacroix has managed to lock this one up! Can McOut escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lacroix on a fantastic submission victory.
