Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gravy Train (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heywood Jablowme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jablowme has chosen hells bells as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gravy Train!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Heywood Jablowme!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jablowme misses with a few strikes there.
Train is looking to chop away at Jablowme's legs.
Jablowme throws a one two combo.


It looks like Gravy Train has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Train.

Train gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Train fails to pull guard.
Knees to the body from Train.

Train jumps guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jablowme gets to his feet. Train looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Jablowme misses with the combination.
Train shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jablowme defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gravy Train. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jablowme shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jablowme was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Train wants to control but Jablowme is having none of it.
Jablowme won't let Train get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Jablowme landing strikes, looking to finish!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jablowme cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Train tries to lock up and control but Jablowme gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jablowme has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Train is desperately trying to improve his position but Jablowme has a good base and remains in mount.
Jablowme blocks Train's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Jablowme sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Train is looking to get to half guard.

Train tries to buck Jablowme off but he can't manage it.
Jablowme looking to control and managing it successfully.
Train is working to get back to half guard.
Jablowme raining down shots from the mount!

Jablowme cracks Train with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jablowme takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Jablowme prevents Train from getting the reversal.

Jablowme with shots to the head and body - Train looks very uncomfortable down there.
Train wants to hold on but Jablowme pushes him away.
Jablowme sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Jablowme trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jablowme is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Train can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Train's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Train dodges the punch combination from Jablowme.
Jablowme misses with a head kick.

Jablowme clinches up against the cage.

Jablowme decides to pull guard.
Jablowme looking to hit a scissor sweep but Train is one step ahead there.

Jablowme pushes Train off and scrambles back to his feet.
Train tries to clinch up.
Jablowme throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jablowme misses with a wild combination.
Train is looking to clinch.
Gravy Train is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jablowme misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jablowme swats away the attempt to clinch by Train.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Train looks to land a combination. Jablowme sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Jablowme throws a sloppy head kick and Train moves out of range easily.

Train gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Train tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jablowme just stands there and leans against the cage.

Train's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jablowme misses with a straight left.

Train clinches up against the cage.

Jablowme pulls guard effortlessly.

Jablowme uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Jablowme is breathing heavily.
Train blocks a head kick by Jablowme.
Train tries to clinch but Jablowme is having none of it.
Jablowme closes the distance and lands a one-two.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Train looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jablowme is not content to let Train control the position.
Heywood Jablowme has got the better of the ground game so far.

Jablowme is holding on to half guard well.
Jablowme's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Well, if Train is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jablowme tries to roll over but Train keeps him under control.
Jablowme is looking to control Train's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jablowme avoid being mounted?
Jablowme manages to get to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Train stops Jablowme from standing up.
Train won't allow Jablowme to sweep him here.
Train trying to control the position from guard on top but Jablowme is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Train throws and elbow that misses. Jablowme uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Train's guard. Nice move by Jablowme!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Heywood Jablowme will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The cut man is working on Gravy Train's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Train tries to close the distance and clinch but Jablowme swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Train changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jablowme tries to avoid it but Train manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jablowme to the ground. Jablowme escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Train slaps away a takedown attempt from Jablowme, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Train tries to clinch but Jablowme moves out of range.
Jablowme throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Train.
Jablowme swats away the attempt to clinch by Train.
Jablowme takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
No joy there for Train, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jablowme tries a head kick but it misses.
Train tries a low kick but Jablowme avoids it.
Jablowme swats away the attempt to clinch by Train.
Jablowme lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Train circles away quickly and effectively.
Jablowme displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Train.

Jablowme shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jablowme trying to control the position from guard on top but Train is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Jablowme is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Train throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jablowme's corner is telling him to maintain position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Train wants to control but Jablowme passes easily into half guard.

Jablowme is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jablowme looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Jablowme working over Train with some ground and pound. Train looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Heywood Jablowme is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Train wants to improve his position but Jablowme is controlling well.
Jablowme not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Train wants to control but Jablowme is keeping busy.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jablowme connects with a nice short shot to Train's temple.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Train wants to control but Jablowme is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Jablowme throwing shots but Train is blocking nicely.

Jablowme stands up and beckons Train to join him on the feet.
A head kick misses from Jablowme.

Jablowme shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Train napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

And that's the end of the fight!
Heywood Jablowme comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jablowme winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
