Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between ROYCKSON GRACIE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Almer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). GRACIE kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Apaga mas não bate. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almer misses with a wild combination.
Almer scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
GRACIE will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Almer throws a sloppy head kick and GRACIE moves out of range easily.
Donk. GRACIE catches Almer right on the button with a cross.
Almer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Almer tries a head kick but it misses.
GRACIE fails with a takedown attempt.
GRACIE has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for ROYCKSON GRACIE. That's going to take a lot out of him.
GRACIE sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
GRACIE tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Almer swivels and escapes.
Almer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
GRACIE shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Almer but Almer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
GRACIE is breathing heavily.
Almer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from GRACIE.
Almer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Almer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but GRACIE moves away.
GRACIE shoots in but no luck this time.
A combination from Almer does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
GRACIE has a takedown stuffed.
Almer lands a nice looking body kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Almer.
Almer lands with a straight right. GRACIE didn't see that one coming.
Almer lets loose with a powerful body kick. GRACIE will feel that in the morning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Almer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
GRACIE looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
GRACIE takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
GRACIE takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Almer feints and then cracks GRACIE's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow GRACIE down.
Almer misses with a two punch combination.
A jab from Almer does it's job there.
GRACIE looks up at the clock. Bad move! Almer lands a right hand from hell, dropping GRACIE. Almer pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thiago Almer!
