The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Filipopic checks it well.
Pierre throws a leg kick but Filipopic sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Filipopic wants to clinch up but Pierre keeps it at a distance.
Pierre throws a sloppy head kick and Filipopic moves out of range easily.
Pierre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Filipopic has closed the distance and engaged Pierre in a clinch.

Filipopic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Pierre walks straight into a right hand from Filipopic - that's dropped him! Filipopic jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Pierre from any more punishment! Pierre complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
