The crowd seem to be enjoying McGrimshaw's choice of entrance music: Pharoahe Monch - Simon Says. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bobson scores with the left hand. McGrimshaw knows he should have avoided that one.
bobson slaps away a takedown attempt from McGrimshaw, before circling back to the center of the mat.
bobson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McGrimshaw.

bobson is looking to work some ground and pound but McGrimshaw has wrist control.
McGrimshaw tries to land a sweep but no joy.
bobson thows a big elbow that misses.
bobson cracks McGrimshaw with a solid left hand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGrimshaw lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for bobson!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McGrimshaw cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

bobson wants to hold on but McGrimshaw pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

bobson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McGrimshaw tries to avoid it but bobson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McGrimshaw to the ground. McGrimshaw escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
bobson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and McGrimshaw counters with a good low kick that bobson was not able to check.
Horrible takedown by bobson or perhaps it was just good defense by McGrimshaw which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for bob bobson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McGrimshaw gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
McGrimshaw has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. bobson is working away from the top position though.
McGrimshaw is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of bobson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take bobson's back!
McGrimshaw keeps control of the position easily here as bobson tries to buck him off.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
