Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Kolobkow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mirko raymore ardonia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mirko raymore ardonia told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolobkow slips under a jab from ardonia.
A swing and a miss from ardonia.
A telegraphed right hand from ardonia misses the target.
Kolobkow tries a low kick but ardonia avoids it.
ardonia lands with a right hand.
ardonia throws a hook but Kolobkow blocks it.
ardonia throws a right and a left that Kolobkow avoids nicely.
A nice combination there by ardonia.
ardonia is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kolobkow.
No joy there for ardonia, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jab, jab by ardonia - just one landing.
ardonia throws a nice looking combination but Kolobkow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
mirko raymore ardonia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A lazy left from ardonia finds it's target.
ardonia looks to throw the jab but Kolobkow is out of range.
ardonia checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kolobkow could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

ardonia gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kolobkow to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kolobkow is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kolobkow's corner is telling him to maintain position.
ardonia is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kolobkow is controlling him.
Kolobkow not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kolobkow decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
ardonia connects with a nice looking jab.
ardonia blocks the body kick.
The crowd cheers as ardonia lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kolobkow doesn't seem phased though.
ardonia swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kolobkow.
Kolobkow tries to land a front kick but ardonia steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Kolobkow shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Kolobkow seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but ardonia does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kolobkow seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. ardonia is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
