Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ject.
Dean uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ject.
Ject swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Dean tries to clinch but Ject moves out of range.

Dean gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ject regains guard.
Ject wants to get back to his feet but Dean is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dean drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dean jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ject pushes Dean off and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Herbert Dean will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Dean.
Dean tries to close the distance and clinch but Ject swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ject looks to score with a jab to the body but Dean is just out of range.
Ject throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ject throws an overhand right that lands on Dean's shoulder, as Dean tries to avoid the shot.
Dean takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Dean tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ject swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Herbert Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dean throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A shot to the body from Dean misses
and Ject counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Nice uppercut lands for Ject. That snapped Dean's head back.
Ject throws a good cross that connects.

Dean is rocked!

Ject punishes Dean's body with a nice straight punch.
Oh Dean is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dean loses concentration momentarily and Ject pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Dean crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Ject finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
